Ingredients

  • ½ cup tahini ((sesame paste))
  • ¼ cup lukewarm water
  • 2 garlic cloves ((crushed))
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tbsp raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil ((plus more if desired))
  • ¼ tsp Himalayan pink salt
  • 1 tbsp minced fresh parsley
  • ¼ tsp paprika

Instructions

    In a small bowl, stir together the tahini and water until smooth.

    Stir in the garlic, lemon juice, vinegar, and olive oil. Season with salt.

    Top with fresh parsley and paprika and serve with olive oil drizzled on top, if desired (In Egyptian culture, this is kind of mandatory!)
